Adulticide
ADULTICIDES
Adulticiding is the method of mosquito control most visible to the public.  Adulticiding kills flying mosquitoes when droplets strike them.  While only a temporary form of control, this method can be very effective and economical with proper timing.

Optimum spraying times are when the following conditions occur:
  • Mosquitoes are very active
  • Temperature is 60 to 85 degrees
  • Wind speed is less than 5 mph
  • Begin spraying shortly before sunset and end by midnight.  Spraying in the early morning, starting at sunrise can also be an option but the window of opportunity is short.

Products used in ULV applications for adult mosquito control should be the safest available and leave the lowest amount of residual possible.  We recommend Natural Pyrethrin and Permethrin products for mosquitoes and flies in recreational and residential areas.  They have desirable properties like quick knockdown, low odor, less corrosive, and low mammalian toxicity.

UnisoLV PREMIUM ULV Flushing Solution is used for removing insecticide residues from ULV equipment. It is formulated to be compatible with all ULV equipment with or without flushing systems. Does not contain water or corrosives and has a high flash point reducing hazards. Using UnisoLV PREMIUM flushing solution consistently will help maintain proper performance of ULV equipment and increase life.
Evoluer
Evoluer products are traditional oil-dilutable mosquito adulticides containing the proven chemistry combination of Permethrin and the synergist piperonyl butoxide (PBO). Permethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide, a synthetic form of natural permethrum. While PBO by itself does not have pesticidal activity, it does enhance the effectiveness of Permethrin by reducing the insects ability to defend itself from the active ingredient.

Tried and true, the combination of Permethrin and PBO equals results. Evoluer controls a broad spectrum of mosquitoes, biting and non-biting midges, black flies, and other public health pests. Evoluer offers a choice in time-tested, cost effective Permethrin.

Envion
Envion is a water dilutable concentrate containing 2.52 lbs Permethrin and 2.52 lbs Piperonyl butoxide per gal. Diluting with water saves on unnecessary mineral oil being sprayed into the environment. Envion does not phase or separate once in solution with water, so what's in the top of the spray tank is the same as what is in the bottom for uniform spray throughout the tank.

Mosquito control districts get the cost advantage of a concentrate and do not have to purchase, stock and mix costly diluent oils.

Envion
Envion RTU is a water based, ready-to-use mosquito adulticide containing .33 lbs Permethrin and .33 lbs Piperonyl butoxide per gallon. Water based means no unnecessary oil being sprayed into the environment. Cost effective and efficacious.

Pyronyl UL-100
Achieve effective mosquito control and fly control with this combination of pyrethrin insecticide and synergist piperonyl butoxide (PBO). An FDA approved pest control solution, Pyronyl™ UL-100 can also control stored product pests on some food products.
Pyronyl™ UL-100 is ready to use without mixing and can be applied as a surface spray or space spray to control flying insects. The product can be applied indoors and out, including in FDA inspected meat and poultry plants, as well as on animal.

Pyronyl UL-300
This dual-synergist, pyrethrin insecticide is an ideal fly control and mosquito control solution. Pyronyl™ UL-300 features pyrethrin, piperonyl butoxide (PBO) and N-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide for the quick kill and flushing action of flying and crawling insects.
Pyronyl™ UL-300 can be applied diluted and undiluted as an indoor spray, or undiluted as an outdoor ground applications. Approved for pest control in food handling facilities as well as on-animal treatments as a livestock fly spray.
