We feel the Typhoon I Gear Pump is the best ULV unit on the market. This mid-sized, 200 cubic feet per minute unit tends to be the most economical and is capable of performing more tasks than other brands - adulticiding, barrier spraying, and larviciding with quick and simple alterations. The gear pump system that is an option for this unit eliminates manual calibration and reduces the operator’s exposure to insecticides. It allows for remote choke, start, formulation on/off, flush/formulation switch and power on/off.

For smaller communities, camp grounds and golf courses, we recommend the Mini-Pro. This dependable, compact unit has been in the field for over 15 years but does not have the remote capabilities of the Typhoon I Gear Pump. It has an 8 HP Briggs & Stratton Engine and a 100 CFM blower.

The Dyna-Jet L30 is an advanced electric, rotary atomizer. It is much quieter than traditional gas-powered ULV units. The nozzle is powered by a sealed, brush less motor to ensure constant speed and long life. It is powered by 12 v DC electric and can be powered with a battery on the unit or through the vehicle battery for automatic recharging. This unit is the newest of the ULV machines at MUG-A-BUG and is what we currently use for the majority of our mosquito contracting applications.
